Andalusia: Day 6 - Seville - Rest Day!

I slept as late as I could and lazed around for a few hours until I had to have coffee.  A place a few doors away had some good coffee and the jamon sandwich was too good to pass up.  While I was there a woman was having some sort of an episode that caused a lot of concern around the bar.  One of the waiters was fanning he with a menu and she laid out on the floor.  I think her daughter ran in in a panic after they called her.  There where some cops and, apparently, Spanish cops can have man buns.  She might have been having a heart attack.

After that I walked around town for a few hours.  Sat in some parks; had a beer at a sidewalk cafe; wandered around some more.  After two hours I was tired and went back to my room to rest.  That was the point of the day.  I pick up a bunch of salty snacks and ate them all.  I also got a giant bottle of lemon sugar water.

At 7:30 I thought I should go out and find a restaurant for 8pm when the Spanish ones open.  I wandered and checked out a few but most seemed so full of tourists.  I settled on one that seemed less so and asked for a table for one.  This place seemed to be mostly reservations and I saw them turn a lot of people away.

I sat in a corner of the 3 table drop in section inside with a view of the street.  Soon a couple sat at the other end and I later found out they had lived in San Francisco untill moving to Madrid when Trump won in 2016.  Just as my starter came two English women sat in the middle table.  The 5 of us all chatted.  It was a good evening.  I had intended one glass of wine and ended up with four.

Early morning tomorrow.  I want to get an early start to Jerez.
