At The House Day 10 - IKEA part 4 and Hortichuela Loop

The churros place opened late.  I was waiting outside and Mike and Alpha had gone to scout the area.  There was a bit of a line when they finally opened the doors.  Churros for me but Alpha and Mike aren't fans.  Alpha liked his hot chocolate.

While we were close to leaving I got a call from the IKEA delivery guys.  I understood enough that they were a few minutes away and confirmed the address.  Finally!

Back at the house we waited and after 20 minutes they showed up.  Got my stuff!

Leaving all the boxes piled up in the hall we got ready for  a ride.  I started leading the group out of town missing the decision to go to the bike shop so Albert could buy a helmet.  We were two kilometers out before I was informed we need to go back to town.  Helmet purchased.  Back to where we were.

We were going north out of town on the road to La Rabita.  The downhill was excellent except for the motorcycles we had to pass.  We couldn't figure out what their deal was.  We stopped for coffee and water at the La Rabita gas station bar.

Next we visited Fuente Álamo.  To get to it we had a nice extended 11% climb.  Next we rejoined the La Hortichuala road and began the 10km/600m climb.  After a brief stop  in La Hortichuala at the halfway point we pushed on to the top.

At the top we opted for lunch in town.  Three beers later we're headed home.

The rest of the afternoon was laundry and tea.  Alpha was sound asleep on the roof so I thought it a good time to build his bed.  After that we went out for some food.
