Low energy day and I did not ride. I was expecting an Amazon delivery and my IKEA window was 3pm to 9pm so I kind of had an excuse.
I didn't want to miss Amazon like yesterday so I stuck around the house all morning. They never came and I needed to get some items to help seal theleaky brass fittings at the toilet shutoff. I figured I might as well get a bit of a walk and some lunch so I left the street door open and put my delivery sign out.
First stop was the Chino Bazar where I found some washers that looked like they should help. Next I walked down to Meson El Olivo. It was only about 1pm and the waiter who speaks some English said they won't start serving until after 1:30. I walked some more to kill the time.
I spotted a bicycle shop and wanted to see what they had so I changed my path to the shop. In front of the shop was a daytime hooker who might have thought I was deviating for her. I felt a little odd looking in the window with her thinking I was a customer. No, really, I'm here to look in the window. I moved on but then turned around because I wanted to note the hours. I hope I didn't get her hopes up too much.
Lunch was good. A very nice menu del dia: a drink; choice of starter - I had the Andalisian cold soup; a choice of main - I had secreto - and a choice of coffee or desert. I had desert and coffee for an extra charge. Total for a very nice meal was 13.50€, all in.
On the way home I though I should get some bread and I would be set for dinner. Nope, no bread for you ... siesta time. The Amazon delivery had arrived.
So I started waiting for IKEA. I fixed the leaky fitting. Played on the computer. Waited. Waited. Still waiting ... it's 11:47pm.
