At The House Day 14 - Walk on a Rain Day

Depending on the weather, Albert was going to start his journey toward Lisbon today.  The weather did not look good in the direction he was heading so he stayed on.

Mike and I had coffee and churros at 8 and then Alpha hosted breakfast on the roof at 10.  The weather was a little blustery but still fairly nice so we decided to go for a hike.  It was just Mike, Albert and I as Alpha chose his book.

We walked up to the church.  I need to start learning the names of places.  Ermita de San Marcos.  Mirador view is sweeping there.  The guys were hesitant to violate a no entry sign - which I'm pretty sure is meant for cars.

Mike was unimpressed by the Sculpture Forest and was of the opinion the guy was defacing the rocks.  Whatever.  I like it.  Albert was diplomatic.

At some point we missed a turn and wandered in the olive groves until I compared our position to one of my previous paths on my map.

We worked up a good sweat climbing up the escarpment.  A tiny dog didn't like Mike's hat and barked at him for about 100m.

Back in town we passed Cafe Madrid and decided we needed a beer.  That turned into the rest of the afternoon.  It started raining hard.  Really hard.  So hard I found out my roof leaks.  Yet another thing to deal with.
